This super-supple braided hook link material sinks incredibly well, been that it hugs the bottom contours, making it very hard for carp to spot it.

As the name suggests, the main function of this hook link material is to create stiff booms, for rigs such as spinner, hinged stiff, and combi set ups. This fluorocarbon has a green tint to it, to help it blend in with the lakebed even more so than a clear one would do, but the biggest advantage is that it can be crimped– our three different sizes of Krimps are the perfect diameter to work with both breaking strains of Boom.

It is very stiff, so will ensure that your rig kicks out away from your lead system every time and sits straight, plus you know that it won’t be tangled.

Four different breaking strains are available – 15lb 0.45mm, 20lb 0.50, 25lb 0.55mm or 35lb 0.65mm – and come on 15m spools.

This Silicone Tube has a multitude of different uses, but the main one is holding the hair in place on your hook.

Crimping is a great way to achieve neat, strong connections, especially when you are using stiffer and/or thicker materials which can be hard to knot effectively – plus it allows you to get the hook link length right every time, which is especially useful for chod rigs.

The Combi-Multi Kickers have been designed in conjunction with Darrell Peck. These rubber kickers are an essential part of his well-documented Combi Multi Rig. Suitable for use with the Wide Gape pattern of hook, these kickers not only extend the shank of the hook, but they also hold the braided, quick-change section of the Combi Multi Rig in place. To change your hook, simply slide back the kicker to release the loop. Once a fresh hook is in place, slide the kicker back over the eye to lock your hookbait in the desired position. Like Darrell, if you prefer to use the ‘line aligner’ technique, simply use a baiting needle to pierce the soft rubber and pull through the braided section. The Micro Ring Swivel comes in two different sizes and is the perfect choice for any rig where your hook bait is sliding on the hook shank, as it is very neat whilst still giving plenty of freedom of movement. The ‘Washed Out’ appearance of the Pastel Barrel Wafters is the first noticeable characteristic within this hookbait range - perfect for targeting wary or the pressured carp commonly found in today’s fisheries. Yet this light colour tone does not reflect the high attract nature of the hookbait containing high quality liquid flavours, enhancers and sweeteners used at optimum levels. Couple these visual and flavour stimulants with the barrel-like shape and poised, critical-balance of the wafter and you have an advanced hookbait that fish find difficult to resist or reject!

Slow-Sinking Maize is slightly larger than the Corn which we also do in our Fake Food range, reflecting the size difference in the real thing, and is also more buoyant. This makes it suitable for use with larger hooks, or rigs that contain more metalware, as it still has enough buoyancy to waft up off of the bottom and into a fishes mouth, even when just using a single piece.
